The exhibition holds special significance as it is the first large-scale retrospective at a public institution in over 30 years since his solo exhibition 'Transition' at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 1993. It showcases over 1,000 diverse works, including his notable painting series, sculptures, videos, and installations.

Jisu Jang has been selected for Lotte Hotels and Resorts' new curatorial programme "Art Experience" and will be on display at Lotte Hotel Busan until 22 August 2024.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, Arts Council Korea presents 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘔𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 at Palazzo Malta—Ordine di Malta. With works by Hoon Kwak, this exhibition brings together a mix of 36 historical and contemporary artists who have participated in the Venice Biennale before, to delineate the progression of Korean art.

Kwon Oh-bong has been selected as the winner of the 2023 Lee In-seong Academy Award. The award ceremony will be held at the Daegu Museum of Art on 2 November 2023, and the winning exhibition will be held at the Daegu Art Museum in 2024.

Fluidic Topography, which Park plans to present this year, is a work based on topography, the study of the earth’s surface structure and natural environment. The new work focuses on the act of walking, which brings humans into direct physical contact with the ground sculpted and arranged by natural processes of water, fire, wind, and light. Walking along the stream that formed over traces of lava flow in Jeju inspired the artist.

Hoon Kwak has been selected as the winner of the 2023 Lee Jung-Seob Award Award. The award ceremony will be held at the Chosun Ilbo Museum on 4 November 2022. The winning exhibition will be on display at the Museum until 14 November.
